Alabama Team Roping Championship 2011

This past weekend was absolutely fun, exciting and exhausting all at the same time!!! These shots are of some of the best team ropers in the country! No matter the age or whether they were men, women, boys or girls, I continued to be amazed by the talent that showed up for the Alabama Team Roping Championship. There was a ton of $$$$$, saddles and buckles given out over the weekend. I was excited for everyone there even though I didn't know most of them... I couldn't help but clap to cheer them on anyways in between shots.

I was so excited to do this shoot last week! Monica was a great sport and braved the heat well. We were able to squeeze in a few railroad shots just before the nice railroad men ran us of. So glad we got these first!!!! And aren't the leopard heels just too cute :-) Thanks Monica!!!

Sweet Sisters

Since I've cut back on the quantity of shoots I'm doing this year, this means I get to spend a little extra time on the quality & preparation of images for clients. This family will receive a total of 63 images in color & black/ white and the session only took about 40 minutes! This sweet family held up so well against the heat and humidity the south insists on throwing at us :-)

Chance

I was finally able to get some great pictures of Chance this weekend! I'm so pleased with how his first shoot went :-) I was even able to sneak in a few shots with him thanks to my husband.

Cowboy Mounted Shooters

Last Saturday, I enjoyed watching these talented folks shoot targets (balloons) from their horses going as fast as they can at the Iron Horse Ranch! I was able to get a few cool images just before it got dark.

2011 Little Boots Rodeo

These little ones can ride!!! This was the most fun event I've shot in a long time!
