All right everyone! Here's think for the pictures from ALSHA's event from 03-09-2013. These images are NOT edited and are reduced file sizes! They will be edited upon purchase by myself. You can view samples of edited images from that show here on FB or my blog. Please feel free to contact me with any concerns or questions. These will be available for the next 30 days. Thanks in advance as this is going to my "Whiskey" fund.
It was perfect weather for the stock show yesterday! Here is a sample of what I took yesterday. Once I've had a chance to go through the images, I'll post a link to the site where you may look at your shots and order if you wish.
Some shots of a true cowgirl!
Someone remembered to smile!
The women were totally rockin' the cow classes!
Check out the angles you rode, Tracie!
I've always loved watching Jim & Erica ride. I will miss seeing them this summer when they go back home. Here's a link to their site if you're ever interested in horseback riding through South Dakota. How awesome would it be to go to a fellow stock horse member's ranch out west to ride. It's soooo on my bucket list! http://ridesouthdakota.com/index.html
I loved this shot of the cow running through the rope. Not the shot Hugh probably wanted, but cool none the less.

This past weekend was absolutely fun, exciting and exhausting all at the same time!!! These shots are of some of the best team ropers in the country! No matter the age or whether they were men, women, boys or girls, I continued to be amazed by the talent that showed up for the Alabama Team Roping Championship. There was a ton of $$$$$, saddles and buckles given out over the weekend. I was excited for everyone there even though I didn't know most of them... I couldn't help but clap to cheer them on anyways in between shots.
I was so excited to do this shoot last week! Monica was a great sport and braved the heat well. We were able to squeeze in a few railroad shots just before the nice railroad men ran us of. So glad we got these first!!!! And aren't the leopard heels just too cute :-) Thanks Monica!!!

Since I've cut back on the quantity of shoots I'm doing this year, this means I get to spend a little extra time on the quality & preparation of images for clients. This family will receive a total of 63 images in color & black/ white and the session only took about 40 minutes! This sweet family held up so well against the heat and humidity the south insists on throwing at us :-)
