I had a wonderful time working with Nicole and her new baby! For this session, I used all natural light provided by windows. I think we got a LOT of really sweet shots :-)

A Cute Couple

I was delightfully surprised when I got a call from Nathan asking to take pics of him and his girlfriend before he leaves for military training. We decided to give my farm a try for some good rustic & outdoor portraits. I think it worked well for them! Thanks for deciding to serve our country Nathan, and good luck at training!

Pics for Pets

These generous people received a photo session for the donation of $50 to the Elmore County Humane Society. I only had two families sign up this time, but maybe next time there will be more... This was such a fun day, and it was so nice to see the pets included :-)

I must admit... I was honored, yet hesitant, to agree to photograph the ALQHA show last month because the Crawford arena ranks really high on my list of worst places to photograph events in. After I got in the swing of things though, I learned to use the negative things about that arena to my advantage. The first few shots were taken with natural light alone! It was great to see such a wonderful variety of talents at the ALQHA show! Hopefully, everyone's enjoying their images thus far.

Orange Beach

Our vacation this spring to Orange Beach may be more special than we would have thought considering the oil spill. While this was before officials were saying it had arrived to our beaches, we did have oil stains on anything cotton we wore in the water. Everything was still really beautiful and enjoyed taking MANY pictures... most of which I've yet to go through :-)
