Co-worker & friend, Nicole Griffin, finally let me photograph Grayden :-) He's just turned 2 and what a fun child he is! Hopefully, friends & family will enjoy a few of my favs from today's session. 

Out on the Town

Again, it was a day for outrunning the storms! Although we almost got rained out, we were able to get some great mother- daughter shots downtown Prattville. Kathy and her daughters were great sports as well fighting the frizz on a very wet day! :-)

Ally- Class of 2010

Ok, this young lady is a firecracker! Ms. Personality herself! Ally was a great sport as I put her through the ringer for hours :-) This shoot was a lot of fun for me! We actually started inside because of course it just had to rain... again. After we finished inside, we moved outside to Southern Homes & Gardens where I was lucky in that it was set up for a wedding. We made great use of their set up :-) The sun even came out just long enough to get a few natural light shots.  Who said you can't shoot outside at high noon :-)

Caroline- Class of 2010

Caroline is graduating this spring, and I was happy to be able to photograph this special young lady last week in this beautiful dress made just for her. I know she has the proudest parents!

Cotton Mouth

Last Thursday night, I was horrified to find this Cotton Mouth snake (30 inches in length) on my back porch underneath my dogs' pillows!!! We were relieved when it was dead. I still count my blessings that I was never struck(and neither were the dogs). We also have the best neighbors! They came and helped us kill it :-)

Boy Or Girl????

Chris and Stephanie came up Sunday for their maternity shoot. They were so awesome to get to work with and I hope to work more with them in the upcoming year. Chris & Stephanie are going to let the sex of their baby be a surprise, so no pink or blue here :-) Just for the record, I think it's a girl, but my husband thinks it's a boy. Here are some of my favorite images from their shoot that I'm so excited they let me share with all of you.

Elmore County Humane Society

I continue to be depressed by the amount of careless & heartless individuals who are cruel to animals! This poor pup was thrown out of a driver side window while driving down the road!!! And just think, people like this are raising children! I'm horrified by that thought & you should be too!

This BEAUTIFUL cat came to the shelter in July. She could really use a great home!

This one has gorgeous eyes too!
Not sure how cuddly this one is :-) but she's fat and happy!
This cute fuzzy thing is sooo cuddly!
This trio were brought to the shelter in May. They desperately need homes!

Max was GREAT sport today! I took wayyy more pics than I normally do for a shoot which made narrowing them down even harder :-) Of course, I must share the ones that were my favs from the session.
